Dreams Never Expire #Goals

Hello All!
Its been Sooooo long since i have posted anything and I am giving myself a round of applause (clap with my friends lol)  my struggle with procrastination has come to an end! Okay so honesty hour; I am a BIG dreamer, i have great ideas in my head all the time but never get them out. They tend to stay trapped in my beautiful mind. :-( But I have decided that I MUST push myself to do what I love and to tap into my greatness! Here are some tips that I have found to be useful to me even some that seem so simple but you will be surprised how much they can motivate you.

1. Create a vision board- a collage of pictures that depict the things you want out of life. When you see it, it can help you stay the course because your aspirations are right in front of you. If you see it you can't ignore it.

2. Read affirmations daily- there are all kinds of books and my personal fave Instagram pages that are dedicated to this. A couple of accounts that I frequently view are SpritualWord and TheGoodQuote,

3.Pray- I'm a Christian so i do this daily. Whatever faith you are if you believe there is someone greater than yourself put it in the atmosphere. In my faith I believe that God knows your hearts desires so I start by giving thanks for what I already have and if I get nothing more its ALWAYS enough, but i pray for my dreams to become a reality, I pray for motivation, for peace in my mind to never give up and stay the course.  Have a open and honest heart and be prepared to receive whatever blessing that are bestowed upon you.

4. Encourage yourself- no love is greater than self love. Don't be hard on yourself there is only 1 you!

5.MAKE A PLAN- 1 month goal, 3 month goal, 6 month goal and so fourth. Be sure to celebrate your goal marks that you hit, no matter how big or small the victory. You are getting closer to your dream and that is something to be celebrated!
Tell me what motivates you! I want to know how you keep your dreams alive!

I just want to SPARKLE and SHINE wherever I go and at whatever I do

Happy New Year! It's 2015 and like everyone else I bet you have a resolution that you want to fulfill. Well I don't have a resolution this year I am looking and going about 2015 totally different. On January 1st I made a few Pinky Promises to myself; to be fearless, no more procrastinating and DO WHATEVER MAKES ME HAPPY. I went into the year as a single woman and I am actually excited about rediscovering me, taking some risks, laughing at myself and enjoying the wonderful woman I have become over the past 29 years. So in the spirit of change and all things good check out these positive quotes and affirmations I have come across the past few days! What's your Pinky Promise for 2015?

Red Bombshell

So I died my natural hair and I am super pleased with the results. It took 2 days to achieve this color! I wanted to share with you all the method I used because every time I looked up red hair dye on natural hair, rhianna red, or K Michelle red;I would only see the end result. No one out there is sharing how they achieved this color or what brand of product they used. Now if you know me, you know I'm always down to share and give tips. So the 1st day I mixed Clairol Jazzing semi permanent dye in Cherry Cola with 20 volume booster, and I got a orange/ blonde shade. It kind of reminded me of free from 106& Park but still not what I wanted. So I put some Cantu leave in conditioner in my hair did bantu knots and figure I will work with it for a day and try again tomorrow. Last night I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and purchased Ion Red 305076 and a 10 volume developer, after 20 minutes with a shower cap on I got the color I wanted. My real inspiration came from @gochasalon on Instagram. Didn't quite get her red but I am more brown than her and I think I did what best fits my skin tone.

Unapolgeticly ME #WCW

I have learned and sometimes still struggle with not worrying about what others may think of me. I mean lets be honest you are taught this as a child and it's drilled in you as a preteen as you are working your way into finding yourself and where you fit in. I think I have had my share of identity crisis's but what is so beatufil is now after all those growing pains I have learned to love myself. I may not be the dress size I want to be currently, my lifestlye may not be the way I invisioned it in my dreams, but I am where I am and I am thankful. Other people's opinions sometimes hurt, because no matter what anyone says WORDS DO HURT! But not allowing it to consume you is the key. And with that said I leave you with this friends.."For you created my inmost being you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I AM FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY made; your works are WONDERFUL I know that full well." Psalm 139:13-14
